I'm a birth doula and prenatal massage therapist in the Utah County and southern Salt Lake County areas.
For the past six years, I have become a dedicated birth doula, driven by a deep passion for supporting expectant mothers. My journey began over a decade ago when I had the privilege of assisting my best friend during her challenging unmedicated birth. Building upon my 16 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, I firmly believe in the power of touch and massage to foster relaxation and enhance the birthing experience. This background has granted me the understanding of the physical and emotional needs of expectant mothers. Additionally, having personally experienced both medicated and unmedicated births in a hospital setting, I approach women’s choices with empathy and without judgment.
In 2021, I completed an empowered birth training that equipped me with a comprehensive toolkit of evidence-based techniques, strategies, and advocacy skills. This training ensures that I can effectively honor and respect women’s choices and desires throughout their birthing journey. As a birth doula, my utmost goal is to provide nurturing support and create a calm environment where women can tap into their inner strength.
