Hi, I'm Lindsay
I’m a postpartum doula, childbirth educator and yoga teacher serving Utah County, Salt Lake County, and Wasatch County.
My journey into birth work began very slowly after the birth of my first son more than a decade ago. I felt so empowered and supported in my unmedicated hospital birthing experience and couldn’t get enough. When I learned about doulas, I dreamt of one day being in spaces with birthing and postpartum families.
Three years later, I gave birth to my second son who was stillborn at almost 40 weeks. This experience taught me even more about myself, birth, grief and the expansiveness of life. I realized life is simply too short to be waiting around for a better time to follow my dreams. Within the year, I was fortunate enough to be able to sign up for my first doula training, and have loved the journey. I completed my initial certification in 2017, and have been serving birthing and postpartum families ever since. I’ve since given birth to two more amazing kids—another unmedicated hospital birth (bringing the total to 3), and one home birth.
The more I’m in this work, the more passionate I become about postpartum support. Our society so often leaves parents to “figure it all out” in the absence of adequate community or social supports, when what they desperately need is to be held and witnessed.
I’m a born-and-bred Utahn, and introverted to the core (living that INFJ life)—unless I’m talking about birth. I’m the wife of an amazingly supportive partner and mother to four stunning kiddos (3 earthside, 1 in the stars). I love working with my hands, being in community with likeminded people, and embarrassing my kids with my singing and dancing. When I’m not working with birthing families, you may find me daydreaming about far away lands I’d like to visit, concocting new herbal recipes, or snuggling on the couch with a soft blanket and cup of warm Masala chai.

What I'll Bring to Your Birth Journey
I’m a believer in the power of a strong support network and ground my practice in empowering folks to remain informed of their options, pursue birth and postpartum education, turn back to themselves, and—most importantly—feel supported in their journey. I’m an inclusive and trauma-aware doula, who meets you where you’re at. My goal is to bear witness to, and hold space for, your journey into parenthood.
