Get to Know Our Doulas

Katie  |  Sindi  | Krystalyn  |  Krysta  |  Briana  |   Jess    Allison

Hi, I'm Jess

I’m a certified birth and bereavement doula serving Utah County, Salt Lake County, Davis County, and Tooele areas. I also offer placenta encapsulation and foot zoning therapy.

My journey into birth work began with the traumatic birth of my first child. That experience left a mark, and it eventually became the starting point of a much deeper journey. Supporting other families became a powerful way for me to heal and give back to my community. When I became pregnant again, I chose to prepare differently. My second birth was a healing experience. I walked away feeling whole, capable, and profoundly transformed. A few years after the birth of my second child, I decided to become a surrogate and delivered a beautiful baby boy home safely to his parents.

Since becoming a doula six years ago, I’ve had the honor of supporting many kinds of birth experiences—from unmedicated births to cesareans, VBACs, inductions, and loss. If birth has taught me anything, it’s that I will forever be a student. Constantly learning, growing, and evolving with my clients as I get to witness and hold space for them and their unique journeys.

Alongside doula support, I offer placenta encapsulation to aid postpartum recovery, and foot zoning therapy—a form of energy and reflex work that helps bring balance and support to all systems of the body. Both of these services come from a place of honoring the body’s wisdom and offering tools for deeper, holistic well-being.

Outside of work, I’m raising two wonderful boys and soaking up as much time in nature as I can. You’ll often find us hiking, camping, gardening, baking sourdough, sewing something creative, or chasing sunshine with a podcast in my ears.

At the heart of it all, I believe in holding space with warmth and respect. Whether you’re birthing, healing, grieving, or just trying to find your footing, I’m here to walk alongside you and your unique journey.

What I'll Bring to Your Birth Journey

When you invite me into your birth space, you’re getting more than just a doula; you’re gaining a steady, grounded presence who sees you, hears you, and honors your vision. I bring calm confidence, deep intuition, and the ability to read a room while staying attuned to your emotional and physical needs. My support is gentle but strong, intuitive but evidence-based, and always centered on you.

I show up with warmth, patience, and zero judgment. Whether your birth unfolds exactly how you hoped—or takes unexpected turns—I’ll be right there, holding space, offering guidance, and reminding you of your strength. I believe in quiet encouragement, informed choice, and the power of creating a safe, supported environment for birth in all its forms.

I carry a depth of empathy and understanding into each space I enter. Your journey is yours, and my role is to walk beside you. Offering tools, reassurance, and grounded care every step of the way.
