Birth is much more than a physical event, it is also a mental, emotional, spiritual, and communal event.

The support we offer at Freya Birth is grounded in the idea that you are a whole person, and will be affected by your history and personality and so many other factors. We strive to hold space for your unique journey with non-judgement and compassion.

We also want to invite you to take a look at the parts of you that you may have denied access to the table, because birth has a way of unearthing those things. We will stay by you as you navigate bringing them to your awareness and integrating them into your self.

Birth offers an incredible opportunity to let go of what isn’t serving you and to build what feels good and right. This includes the relationship to your body, self and community.

We are also always seeking more knowledge about holsitic healing modalities and remedies that help to heal the mind and body and offer gentler ways of easing the birth process without the side effects.

Positive Birth Circles

Join community and feel more supported on your journey.

It will include a breathing exercise to begin, followed by a short birth centered topic and discussion and then open circle to share what’s on your heart.

I'm Katie

Founder of Freya Birth

In 2017, I embarked on a heartfelt journey as a solo doula, pouring my dedication and passion into serving expectant mothers during one of the most transformative times in their lives. The journey was deeply fulfilling, but it soon became clear that demand for my services had grown beyond what I could personally provide. Alongside this realization, I yearned for a stronger sense of community—a place where I, too, could find the support and camaraderie I needed to thrive and bring my very best to every client.

This moment of reflection gave birth to a beautiful idea—to create a haven of holistic, compassionate doula care and a sanctuary of support. And thus, Freya Birth Doula Collaborative was born.

Our collaborative is a culmination of love and dedication, handpicking a wonderful group of doulas who share the same passion, values, and commitment to nurturing mothers and families through every step of their unique journey. We are more than just a team; we are a collective of compassionate hearts, dedicated to making every mother feel seen, heard, and held throughout her motherhood journey.
